It’s been a difficult 18 months for everyone so we want to start the Summer holidays off with our very own Peterston Staycation – a week of free entertainment, inspiring speakers and family fun.  Check out details of all our events below.  Follow the links to sign up for events that require booking, and contact us at if you have any questions.
Cricket Match
An all age, all abilities match on the Memorial Playing Field. Play begins at 2pm Saturday 17th July, or in the event of bad weather we will try the following Saturday 24th at 2pm.  If you would like to join in the match email us at and we’ll add you to a team.  If you want to watch, just turn up with your chair or picnic blanket and remember to socially distance from those outside your household.
Church @ The Pub
If you thought church only happened with dusty pews and hymn books think again.  We’re delighted to hold an open air service with a live band and something for all ages, in the Sportsman’s Rest garden 10.30 – 11.30am on Sunday 18th July.
Duck Race
Straight after our Church @ the Pub service at 11.30am we will start our count down to the grand annual duck race.  Sponsor a duck and watch it float down the river for your chance to win a selection of prizes. If you’re not already there for Church, come down to the Sportsman’s Rest garden at 11.30am Sunday 18th July.  Ducks will be launched in the river at 11.45am (please socially distance along the bridge and riverbank).  You can sponsor your duck via JustGiving
